Good press for distilleries
Just to share with the fine folks here. In today's Seattle Times business section, there is an article discussing the growth of distilleries here in my home state of Washington. The article prominently mentions our distillery, includes some photos of us, and a video of one of Seattle's top cocktail bars louching up a glass of Pacifique. The absinthe martini.
I've run across another mention of this drink just recently, but first time I heard of it was in a PG Wodehouse story. Bertie Wooster, master of the clueless and wonkey, is not to be trusted on such things as taste and refinement.
Since you make both gin and absinthe, what do you think of the idea? I've yet to try it myself.
Tours?
At this time we do not offer tours. As for the Absinthe Martini, I've never tried it. Sounds interesting though.
Pacifique Absinthe Martini:
2 oz. Voyager Gin
1/2 oz. Noilly Prat Dry Vermouth
1/8 oz. Pacifique Absinthe
Stir well; strain into glass; garnish with olive.
